The Best Western Plus Rose City Suites, an apartment style, all-suite hotel, opened the first of its kind in Welland, iin 1990 and continues to thrive today.  Anne Guillemette, the General Manager, has been with the hotel since before the doors opened and continues to be instrumental in the hotel’s success.

The management team says “It has been a privilege to be a trusted and integral part of the community. Our Team (staff) are a crucial part of our success in providing exceptional service with pride.  We highly value the respect of our community and intend to continue to maintain a recognizable profile in the region.”

The hotel has undergone various renovations over the years, including several interior upgrades as well as the recent resurfacing and painting of exterior in 2022. We have been accredited numerous awards over the years including the Best Western International Chairman’s Award where we ranked in the top 5% for quality assurance in 2021 and the AAA/CAA ‘Best of the Best’ for cleanliness and condition numerous times.

In 2024 we marked a milestone in achieving Best Western’s highest award, the MK Guertin Award and Customer Care Award. Awarded to only 111 of the 2,000 Best Western Properties. 

The team continues to excel at what they do, our guests are like family, and we look forward to another 35 years.
