Here at Best Western Plus Rose City Suites we always strive to support our local community and give back in any way we can. We believe the holiday season should be a special time for everyone, but we also recognize that there are some vulnerable families/individuals who are finding it harder each year to keep their cupboards full.  

If you’ve ever asked yourself, What happens with the non-perishable items left behind? The answer is a simple one that we hope you’ll love as much as we do. 

Non-perishable food left behind by guests are saved by housekeeping upon cleaning the suites. From there, once we have collected a sizable amount to be donated, our social committee gathers everything together and then the items get donated to local food banks in Welland. It truly is a team effort!

This year we’re so thrilled to have donated all non-perishables to the Open Arms Mission (OAM) to help families struggle a little less during the holidays. 

Our team here at Best Western Plus Rose City Suites is ever grateful for the city we call home. We’ll continue this trend every year and donate any unopened non-perishable items that are left behind. We hope that we helped make someone’s Christmas a little more joyful this year.
