When we are tired of the cold weather we’ve been having in south Niagara, and many places in Canada, we tend to start day dreaming of the warmer places we’d like to be, come mid February. 

Where do you dream to travel? How do you decide where to go? Most of the people I know could mention at least a couple of places that they’d want to go if I asked them right now. Where you decide to go really gets decided by two things, 1) how much time do you have off / how far is it from where you live 2) how much can you spend on this trip.  Further away = more time and more money. 

If you are reading this, and live within 500km of Welland, Ontario, may I suggest a stay in Welland. Yup, that’s right, Welland. In a 500km journey one way, you can easily enjoy a 3 night holiday without feeling like you spent two entire days just traveling to and from your destination. At just 30minutes west of Niagara Falls, you can have a peaceful stay and see the magnificent Niagara Falls, on one of the afternoons here. 

How do you decide what hotel is the best choice? Yes, price matters, but so does comfort, cleanliness, service and location.  In the last 10years, the opinion of what others say about a hotel property really factor into people's decisions. Like most, we’d all pay a bit more to be comfortable (in everything, buy a better brand of socks so your feet are not so cold, who wants cold feet…)

The top trending sites for hotel reviews are Google, and Trip Advisor. We’ve been in business for 36 years, and we rank at 4.5/5 with Trip Advisor and 4.4 with Google, take a read. We are not perfect, but we sure do try our best to always provide the best possible experience. The service here is second to none, the spacious accommodation will have you feeling like you’re in your living room, and the friendly service at breakfast will feel like you’re talking to a friendly neighbor.
